Hey There . . .

I’m Maggie!

I’m glad that you’re here.

I believe in providing individualized, meaningful treatment for each of my clients to help them reach their health goals.

None of us fit in a box and  your care shouldn’t be a “one-size-fits-all” approach.

Often when we bring our concerns to medical health professionals, we are met with surface-level care that only treats the symptoms.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed and not sure where to start, just know I’ve been there too and I’m excited to get started with you on your wellness journey.

I’m passionate about partnering with you!

My Health Journey

I am extremely passionate about helping my clients find answers because I and my family have been on an extensive health journey of our own for quite some time.

By the age of 30, I was on seven different medications and told by health care professionals that I was “very healthy”. But I didn’t feel that way at all. I brought concerns to them about constant migraines, trouble sleeping - not to mention that I was anxious, depressed and starting to gain weight. I was just told the normal things - watch what you eat, work out a little more, and on and on. I knew there had to be a different way.

At the same time, my kids were going through a lot of health challenges. After much research and seeking counsel, we realized it was largely related to vaccine injuries. I saw them growing up with health concerns I knew could be avoided, if only I could find the answers.

While researching and developing on our family health journey, I saw a lot of my own clients with the same concerns - poor gut health, heavy metal toxicity and recurrent infections. Their lives were filled with stress, toxins, and processed foods. Yet when they went to the doctor, they were always given a clean bill of health. But I knew there had to be a different way, and wanted to help them, like I was helping my own family.

Many said that expanding my practice into holistic health was a mistake. They said I should, “stay in my lane.” My response to them was always to smile and say, “Either the highway has to expand, or I will get off this one and build a new way.” I was determined to connect the dots and find the answers that the modern health system failed to seek out.

My goal is for my clients to realize, just like I did, that they are in charge of their health. You are your best advocate for your care. We all go through seasons in life that require different elements of care - care that should be customized to you.

So if you’re looking for answers and true healing - You’ve come to the right place.

My Experience

My journey into working in whole-body care began back in college. I started out pre-med with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Chemistry with a minor in Nutrition at Texas Women’s University. I applied and was wait listed for med school three times - needless to say, that was not the path that God had for me. So, I decided to teach high school in the meantime, Biology, Chemistry and Anatomy & Physiology. While I liked teaching, I really loved it when the students would come to talk to me during tutoring or after school. I realized that maybe counseling was my true calling. Which incidentally enough, reminded me of my advisors in college who had encouraged me in that direction from the start!

I graduated with a Masters of Science in Counseling from A&M Commerce and then worked for a non-profit in their Domestic Violence and Incest Recovery departments. There, I would lead group counseling sessions, individual counseling sessions, groups in the county jail and state prisons, and give a lot of courtroom testimony. After that, I worked at a psychiatric hospital in their trauma unit and outpatient for trauma counseling. While these experiences were beyond valuable, and I loved working with these clients, I knew there was still more I was looking for.

I wanted to have the flexibility to expand into other areas and let my conscience guide the type of care that I give. I’ve always been extremely passionate about not just helping someone with their mental health, but also about helping them find the root issue, which often lies within other areas of our bodies. So I started my private practice back in 2013, and have been doing that ever since.

I’d love to help you get to the root of your health concerns and find lasting healing.

My Services

Each part of my practice is deeply integrated into the belief that our care should be as connected as the systems within our bodies. Each symptom is pointing to internal areas that need some attention and care.

Some clients choose to integrate both my licensed counseling and holistic functional wellness services, while others find that one approach best fits their needs. While I do practice both, I schedule and bill them separately.

Counseling

In my counseling practice, I go beyond just traditional talk therapy. I utilize safe, trusted methods, that are backed by science, to reach beyond surface-level healing and coping mechanisms.
