Emotional Transformation Therapy

A gentle, brain-based approach that uses light and color to help release emotional pain, regulate the nervous system, and restore balance.

Approach your healing with supportive, regulatory care that uses neuroscience to your advantage.

What is Emotional Transformation Therapy?

A trusted, neuroscience-backed approach to trauma therapy that calmly heals the nervous system using carefully controlled wavelengths, colors, and eye movements.

It connects to the parts of your brain that store and process emotions like the amygdala, prefrontal cortex, etc.

ETT goes beyond traditional talk therapy to process deeply-stored traumas in a gentler way, without reliving every moment.

This method helps your brain to release the emotions stuck at the source - within your brain

How ETT Works

ETT uses the sensory connections that your eyes have to your brain. It introduces light-based stimulation that connects to the parts of your brain that process emotions.

How this looks in a session:

  • You’ll focus on a specific event or emotion.

  • You will be looking at a variety of lights - specific wavelengths, varying intensities and patterns.

  • Because this is a different approach than how the trauma occurred, your brain is able to reorganize and process the emotion or event differently.

  • As this happens, you might notice a shift in how you feel physically or emotionally.

  • You might also notice a reduction in the traumatic reactions from the event or in how the emotion feels.

If you feel like traditional talk therapy hasn’t worked for you in the past, or you’re looking to make new strides, ETT could be for you!

What Can ETT Help With?

ETT can be effective for a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety and chronic stress

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Depression or low mood

  • Addiction

  • Chronic Pain

  • Emotional overwhelm

  • Phobias and fears

  • Negative thought patterns

  • Grief and loss

  • OCD & ADHD

  • Dissociation

A Whole-Body, Nervous System Approach

Our body is so deeply connected that our nervous system can be regulated by so many different inputs - light, sound, wavelengths, etc. ETT is just another modem that is a powerful source of healing, utilizing our body’s network of communication and storage.

Clients often find this method to be more relaxing and less-traumatic than traditional talk therapy. As a trauma-informed therapist, I am always looking to help my clients process their traumas in a way that is not only highly effective, but also more calming and approachable.

I hope that you’d be willing to try this method in a session with me!

I’ve seen it help clients have breakthroughs and be set free from some very difficult emotions and memories.

How to know if ETT is right for you?

It may be a good fit for you if you:

  • Are feeling emotionally dysregulated or heavily affected by past traumatic events.

  • Have tried other therapies or methods, but you’re looking for deeper healing - at the source.

  • Don’t want to talk through every detail of your traumas again, but are still looking for healing.

  • Are feeling like talking about it hasn’t really helped and that you’re still “stuck”.

  • Open to trying something new in order to better connect to whole-body healing.

You don’t have to figure it out alone - I’d love to talk to you more and help you discover if ETT is right for you!
